What is offered here

Under the bahntastic brand we run two things: the Chrome extension („bahntastic — data saver for train Wi-Fi") and the surf service on this website (the surf box, i.e. addresses under /s/ and /hd/). How each of them handles data is described in our privacy policy.

bahntastic is not a Deutsche Bahn service and is not affiliated with Deutsche Bahn AG. „bahntastic" is a brand of Renneberg Media UG (haftungsbeschränkt).

Liability for content

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws pursuant to section 7(1) DDG. Under sections 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which we become aware of a specific infringement. Upon becoming aware of such infringements we will remove the content in question without delay.

Liability for links and for retrieved pages

On your request the surf service retrieves third-party pages and returns them as a text version. The respective provider or operator is always responsible for such third-party content; we accept no liability for it and do not adopt it as our own. Permanent monitoring of the content is not reasonable without concrete indications of an infringement. Upon becoming aware of infringements we will remove such content or block its retrieval without delay.
